• Author of Scrum Anti-Patterns Guide

• 40,000+ agile practitioners have trusted my insights for 10-plus years.

📅 Update: AI4Agile v3 will be available on July 20, 2026.

From Prompting to Operating Capability

Sooner or later, a CFO will ask what your AI use actually returns. "It saves me time" will not survive that meeting.

The first wave of AI adoption rewarded practitioners who learned to prompt. That skill still matters, and this course still teaches it. The second wave rewards something rarer: people who can turn individual AI use into knowledge that survives departures, spend that can be explained and steered, and output that organizations can trust. That work is process design and change management. You have been doing both for years, on harder problems than this.

The AI 4 Agile Online Course v3 is in English. 🇬🇧

The Story: MegaBrain.io in Two Acts

Every lesson runs on a startup you will come to know better than some of your real clients.

Act 1: The Crisis. MegaBrain.io, a Berlin-based AI startup, must ship release 3.0 within two Sprints or lose the €20 million funding round that keeps it alive. You are the coach they hired. You apply AI to the work that decides their survival: Sprint Retrospectives, backlog analysis, stakeholder communication, team performance data, and the politics in between.

Act 2: After the Funding (new in V3). They made it. Four months later, everything that saved the company starts to cost it. The developer behind the best AI workflows resigns, and nothing was documented. The new CFO totals €95,000 a month in AI spend, and nobody can tell the board what it returns. An unsupervised automation nearly kills the largest deal in company history by promising a customer a feature that does not exist.

Your mandate changes with the story: turn crisis improvisation into operating capability. That is the work your own organization will need next, and V3 trains you to do it.

What You Will Learn to Mast

  1. Apply AI to Real Agile Work From Day One: Sprint Retrospectives, Product Backlog analysis, stakeholder communication, team data interpretation, and coaching conversations, with proven prompt engineering and templates you can use the same afternoon.
  2. Build AI Systems That Compound Instead of Evaporating: Persistent instructions, Claude Skills, custom GPTs, and Gemini Gems as three implementations of one idea: encoding your judgment so it survives every session and every departure. Including a lean, file-based second brain for the workshop material you currently photograph and forget.
  3. Answer the Money Question Before It Gets Asked: Token economics and model routing: which work belongs on frontier models, which runs on cheaper or locally hosted alternatives, and how to measure return on tokens invested.
  4. Run AI Delegation With a System, Not a Gut Feeling: The A3 Framework (Assist, Automate, Avoid) and its new companions: a Definition of Done for AI-assisted work and the Delegation Retrospective that catches drift before your customers do.
  5. Lead the Adoption as Change Management: Introduce these practices to teams and leadership with your own people. The operational layer of AI adoption is yours to run; no strategy consultancy reaches it.

Testimonials from the Corresponding AI 4 Agile BootCamp Cohort

"The framework is immediately applicable to real workplace scenarios. I was using the prompt templates in my retrospectives within days of starting the course." — Lauren Tuffs, Senior Scrum Master

"Stefan's expertise in both agile and AI creates a unique learning experience. The 70/10/20 structure with real-world cases makes the learning stick.” — Fortune Buchholtz, Agile Coach

"Finally, an AI course that acknowledges agile practitioners need different approaches than developers. Accessible even for AI newcomers." — Atticus Ryan, Product Owner

"This bridges the gap between AI capability and agile application. Stefan understands both domains deeply, and it shows in every module." — Holger Dierssen, Digital Transformation Lead

“At the beginning, Stefan said that 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘱 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘱𝘶𝘵𝘴 𝘶𝘴 𝘢𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴. That sounded like a big statement. But somewhere along the way, I noticed a shift... an emerging superpower in how I approach my tasks with AI.⚡ And now, as my AI-mutation continues, I catch myself wondering: 💭 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘰 𝘐 𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘈𝘐 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥?” — Ilya Zaytsev, Leading Agility at HUGO BOSS

What Is New in V3

  1. Act 2 of the MegaBrain story, with new synthetic data: the CFO’s board report, post-funding interviews, and a release-scale Product Backlog.
  2. The delegation lifecycle, complete: the A3 Framework connects to a Definition of Done for AI-assisted work, the Delegation Retrospective, and a model routing policy. Three artifacts, one system.
  3. Model routing and return on tokens invested: the economics module and the new capstone exercise, built on June 2026 market data.
  4. A second brain for agile practitioners: lean, file-based, tool-agnostic.
  5. Compounding systems across platforms: instruction stacks, skill-building principles, and maintenance habits on ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude.
  6. Agentic AI security: the risks that come with agents, the reversibility test, and the difference between approving output and reviewing it.

What Makes This Course Different

1️⃣ A story instead of a topic list: one company, two acts, consistent data and politics. The exercises connect because the story does.

2️⃣ Tool-agnostic by design: ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude. Your organization’s tool choice does not lock you out.

3️⃣ Built for busy agile practitioners: plan 2 to 3 hours per week, with templates and Stefan’s solutions included.

4️⃣ From practice, for practice: cohort-hardened across seven BootCamps, with the failures left in.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How is this different from other AI courses? Most AI training teaches tools or individual productivity. This course is designed for agile team environments and covers the full arc from personal use to operating capability: systems, economics, governance, and change management to introduce them.
  • I already own v2. Do I need the waitlist? No. V3 is included in your existing license at no cost. It will appear in your course access on launch day.
  • Do I need prior AI experience? No. The course starts with agile-focused fundamentals and builds systematically to the advanced material.
  • What AI tools do I need? Access to any major language model (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar). Free tiers work for most exercises; where a paid plan or a specific tool is required, the exercise says so and offers an alternative path.
  • How much time commitment is required? Plan 2 to 3 hours per week for the core learning, with immediate application to your regular agile work.
  • Is this about replacing human judgment with AI? No. The entire delegation lifecycle exists to keep human judgment in charge of the decisions that need it. “Avoid” is a first-class category, with criteria.
  • How current will the content remain? The frameworks are tool-agnostic, model capability claims are dated, and the course teaches durable methods over interface walkthroughs.
  • Will I be able to train others in these approaches? Yes. The course includes materials and strategies for introducing these frameworks to your team and organization. Many participants in the corresponding AI 4 Agile BootCamp Cohort become internal change agents for the responsible adoption of AI within their organizations.
